Cancer Survivors Share Their Stories

Catherine Thomas was only in her 40s when she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She didn't want to pack up her life and travel to a bigger city for treatment.

"I'm self-employed, so it was important that I continue to work and not take a lot of time off," she said. CCIC helped her keep up with all aspects of her life. She was able to schedule her weekly infusions during lunch and her radiation therapy first thing in the morning.
